Use this attachment when you need to add cotton or nylon tape to the inside of a seam to prevent stretch.
The attachment consists of 3 parts. Screw to fit the tape reel. The tape reel and arm. Also the tape foot.
The tape reel arm is fitted to the rear of the overlocker, so the reel is at the front as shown in the image. The tape is then wound on to the reel and passes through the tape hole in the arm, then through the tape hold in the special foot. Set the machine as normal using 3 or 4 threads and as you stitch the tape will be pulled through and sewn flat against the fabric. The sewn will now become stable and will not stretch!
