Bernette Overlock Gathering Foot

Using this specialist gathering foot, single fabric layers can be gathered evenly.

Alternatively one fabric layer can be gathered and simultaneously sewn on a smooth piece of fabric.

Create perfect gathers on lightweight materials.

For best results set the stitch length to the longest setting.

Set your Bernette overlocker differential feed to between 1.0 and 2.0.

One fabric layer goes completely under the foot (this will be stitched flat), while the other fabric piece will be gathered. The fabric, lace or trim you want to gather is placed in between the gathering plate and foot.

Lower the foot a start stitching, adjust stitch length as needed for longer or shorter gathers.!
