Pintucks are very popular on dressy blouses and skirts, lingerie and nightwear. It is a technique much used in Heirloom Sewing for childrens clothes and christening gowns. They can also give a whole new dimension to other aspects of sewing such as bed linen, table linen and other home furnishings. Pin tucks are tiny 'false tucks' created by sewing parallel rows of stitching using a 2mm twin needle. The Pintuck Foot is used with a twin needle to create multiple rows of pintucks. The grooves on the underside of the foot make it easy to stitch several rows parallel and evenly spaced from each other.
Set of two feet - standard 1.5mm (7-grove) and deep 2.5mm (5-groove).
