The manual is very easy to follow, but simply you download the special file from the brother website to your PC, then using the USB cable the Innovis XV can be updated directly from the file that was downloaded to your PC. Follow the steps on the embroidery machine screen and hey-presto you have upgraded the internal software of your Innovis XV
