This Bobbin case is for the Silver 9400 sewing machine. This controls the bottom tension of your sewing, if your bobbin case has been adjusted you may have broken it and resetting it is exceedingly difficult. The bobbin holder on you machine should be free from holes caused by a sewing needle hitting the plate and also free from burs or gouges that the thread could be caught on and cause a thread jam and more damage to your machine. This is a quick and direct replacement.
AS well as fitting the Silver 9400, it also fits their embroidery models CH01, CH03, and some other models as listed.
