Often referred to as the spool case this small item controls 50% of your sewing machine tension, the bobbin is placed into the bobbin holder and helps tension the thread to create a perfect stitch. If your machine keeps skipping stitches, thread keep bunching underneath or you bobbin case has holes burr's or impact marks on it then it will need to be replaced.
