Singer Fashion Mate 3342 Sewing Machine

With more than 32 built-in stitches the new Fashion Mate 3342 from Singer is a delight to sew with. The new look curvy styling of the sewing bed makes for a slightly larger sewing area and when removed gives a sleeve arm for sewing cuffs, shoulders or trouser leg seams. Accessories can conveniently be stored in the removable compartment.

The Singer Fashion Mate 3342 offers adjustable stitch width and length for customising stitches, or setting the perfect satin stitch when sewing appliqué or free-motion embroidery. LED's are bright and light up the needle, foot and sewing area. Thankfully the Singer 3342 also incorporates a built-in automatic needle threader which helps thread the needle eye with ease.

Another nice feature of the Singer 3342 is not the fact that it uses a top loading bobbin with see through cover, which of course is handy to view how much thread is left on the bobbin, the beauty is Singer have gone a step further and added a system, where by once the bobbin has been wound with thread, the bobbin is dropped in to its holder, then you simply follow the arrows and the groove and as you come to the end, the excess thread is trimmed off. This effectively means you have the correct measured amount of thread ready to form the first stitch, no need to turn the hand wheel and bring the lower thread to the top...you simply start stitching.
