The 1040 from Silver Viscount is a user-friendly, computerized sewing machine.  Not a mechanical knob in sight..!  All stitch selections are made with the touch of a finger and shown in the very bright, well-lit LCD display which makes it easy to see which stitch you've chosen as well as the stitch width and length, which can be adjusted to your preferences. Other popular programs are 8 quilting stitches, 5 cross stitches and a huge number of satin decorative stitch functions.

80 wonderful pre-programmed stitches including 6 styles of automatic one step buttonholes. A jam-proof, magnetic, top-loading, full rotary hook system eliminates the need for a removable bobbin case. The hook cover plate opens at the touch of a button, and the extra needle penetration power of the Silver lets you sew across heavier fabrics and multiple layers.

At 5.30kg, the Silver 1040 is our lightest computerised machine and is ideal to carry to classes. The Silver sewing machine also features a seven piece feed mechanism, a drop feed facility, automatic needle threader. There’s also a speed control lever for setting the maximum sewing speed and by using the stop/start button you dont have to use the foot control and the machine comes complete with a hard case to keep your new machine safe and secure.
