Necchi Mirella Sewing Machine

Some users will remember the Necchi Mirella of the past. It was a very popular machine in the 1950’s golden years and was renowned for its semi-industrial strength, curvy swan neck shape, stitch quality and striking good looks.

One of our images shows the lovely original 1957 Necchi Mirella compared to this modern Mirella of the 2020’s, some 60 years later! Note how the new version has a similar flowing shape, same cream colour and it’s also a cracking stitcher, however, it does offer additional functions beyond the original 1950’s version.

The new Necchi Mirella, available today, not only has similar flowing good looks but is a robust model with front loading bobbin and aluminium chassis and sews very well indeed. It’s lightweight, easy-to-use and perfect for beginners.

The single dial stitch selector helps with quickly selecting the required pattern. When winding, the hand wheel automatically disengages and it will even stop winding when it sensors the bobbin is fully wound with thread.

With advanced features and 17 stitch options, there's no stopping the new Mirella. Sew buttons on and create buttonholes in a 4-step sequence. Another modern touch is the LED light and built-in tensions system for accurate stitching no matter what type of fabric you are sewing. New users will love the electronic speed control which offers finer speed control with maximum needle penetration, even at slow stitching speeds. This new technology is far superior to its predecessor.
