Juki TL-2200 QVP Mini Industrial Sewing Machine

It’s the JUKI mini-industrial and its model number says it all "TL2200QVP" the QVP stands for "Quilt Virtuoso Pro" and that’s what you will achieve using this fantastic machine.

Built from an aluminum internal chassis with a strong metal body, this machine uses all the original JUKI qualities, plus the added benefits of modern technology, like the under bed thread cutter, which will snip off both the top and bobbin thread at the touch of a button, leaving a neatly finished seam.

The fully automatic thread cutter can also be operated with the press of the foot control unit. Just like the true industrial factory sewing machine, you have the option to use your foot to cut thread ends and your knee to lift the presser foot. Legendary industrial qualities built in.

It will sew a perfect straight stitch no matter how many thicknesses you feed under the metal foot. The feed dogs can be lowered via the easy-to-access lever, to allow for stippling and free-motion embroidery.

Reverse sewing, again just like many of the industrial machines, is a simple lever just below the stitch length dial. The beauty about this arrangement is for example, if you were to set the stitch length to 2.5 mm and pressed the reverse lever fully, the reverse length would be 2.5 mm. Setting length to 6.0 mm (the longest stitch setting) the reverse would be 6.0 mm. Simple but clever.

I have not mentioned the size of the space under the arm yet.. it’s huge and more than enough to accommodate a quilt half-rolled. Gap to the right of the needle 22 cm (8.5") height 15.5 cm (6-1/4"). Some machines may be longer but not as tall as the TL-2200.

It sews at an incredible 1500 stitches-per-minute! Threading is similar to a flat-bed industrial machine, but the TL2200 QVP has the advantage of a built-in needle threader.
