Juki HZL-70 Sewing Machine

If your passion is fashion or decorative crafting, you will love the Juki HZL-70 computerised sewing machine. It is packed with lots of computerised functions to make stitching faster and more enjoyable. For example, the presser feet clip on and off with a small metal lever on the foot holder; the foot holder also doubles as a holder for the quilting bar, which can be set to sew quilted blocks or can be used as a guide whilst topstitching a seam. It is adjusted between 8mm to 75mm from the fabric edge, one of our images shows it being used whilst quilting.

Our HZL-70HW is part of the HZL-70 series models, we only sell the latest HZL-70HW-B model. It is a precision stitcher that can sew at speeds up to 800 stitches-per-minute, thanks to a full rotary hook and box feed system. 

Using direct stitch selection, the computer selects the most popular stitch settings for each stitch, yet the length and width can be overridden if required. Sew beautiful buttonholes with 7 different types of buttonholes available. The Juki HZL-70 will automatically sew a buttonhole according to the size of the button and all in a one-step sequence.

Use it for quilting too, the HZL-70 offers some specialist quilting stitches, including the vintage hand-look quilting stitch...just select stitch number 5 on the LCD screen. 

Automatic Needle Threader: Thread the needle with ease and start sewing quickly with the push of a lever.

Start/Stop Button: Sew without your foot control – just unplug and go. The button also includes colour-coded buttons that will provide the machine status. 

Reverse Stitch / Reinforced Stitch: Hold the reverse button and sew backwards. Press the button to lock the end of your sewing. Two types of lock stitches are available: reverse stitch and reinforced stitch.

Stitch Speed: Adjust the stitch speed by selecting fast, normal, or slow. To increase the speed, slide the lever to the right.

Needle Up and Down Position Button: By pressing the button, you can quickly and easily change the up/down position of the needle.

Free Motion: Enjoy both straight stitch and zig-zag by flicking the switch and dropping your feed dogs!

Multiple Fabric Layers: Adjust the presser foot height for easy movement for fine or heavy-weight fabrics.

Auto-Lock/Stop button: The machine will immediately sew 3 locking stitches when the Auto-lock button is pressed, then automatically stop. Or it can sew locking stitches at the end of a seam depending on the stitch selected.

The HZL-70 can sew with or without using the foot speed controller. Unplugging the foot control you can use the start/stop button. The colour of the button indicates machine's status.

• GREEN -Ready to start and/or while sewing.
• RED - Not ready to start. (Presser foot is not lowered or the thread may be twisted or jammed.)
• AMBER - The machine is in bobbin winding mode.
