Janome Atelier 6 Anniversary Edition Sewing Machine

The Janome Atelier 6 AE sewing machine has the latest technology available on the market and has several additional extras to earn its Anniversary Edition name. it also includes the Acufeed walking foot, that quilters love, and a must have extension table.

The model has almost two hundred built in stitches and an assortment of 10 automatic buttonhole styles. These buttonhole styles include classic, keyhole, rounded keyhole, jeans, rounded, stretch, knit, heirloom, faux chain and bound.

Just flip up the top cover for an overview of all the stitches, and look at the alphabets! Whichever style you choose, your message will be clear. You'll find upper and lower case letters, punctuation and numbers. You can even choose the size of the font from 6-9mm for when the occasion calls for it.

Stitch settings are pre-programmed for width, length, with options to mirror image or reverse. Ten stitches are at hand on the direct select mode, and you can easily use the factory default settings if you'd prefer. Each selection can be viewed and adjusted on the LCD screen, even pattern elongation up to 5 times.

Program your stitches

Combine utility, quilting, heirloom, cross and satin stitches, and alphabets in a single sequence. Stitch it out once or save it to a memory slot to repeat your custom stitches, words or phrases, to sew at a later date.

Another innovation from Janome, available on the Atelier sewing machine range, is the exceptionally generous sewing space with an under bed height of 120mm, the work surface of 210mm to the right of the needle, to the body of the machine, offers plenty space for larger quilts.

The Janome Atelier 6 Anniversary has an easy storage area under the top cover for the touch stylus and popular feet that you often change too. As well as neat storage and accessory tray in the accessory box on the sleeve arm, you'll have a convenient area to store everything you need.

 
Ever wish you had an extra hand when sewing?

Simply raise or lower the presser foot with your knee, use the knee lifter, and you'll really appreciate this when pivoting corners or sewing patchwork pieces. It is the same system used in factories while speed stitching products.

Even when it's time to store away your Atelier 6 and its accessories or lift it from the table to the floor, it includes an attractive, semi-rigid Janome branded cover. The long handle is well suited for lifting with one or two hands for carrying.
