Expand your creativity by using the Janome 780DC and adding a little extra treat to our fabulous sewing projects. With computerized refinements that make sewing even more pleasurable, the 780DC is the perfect sewing machine to tackle any crafting, quilt making or dressmaking project.

It is fully computerised and has over 80 stitches, including 3 x auto-sizing 1-step buttonholes. Eyelets, satin stitches, blind hemming, stretch, over-edging, darning program, and some lovely decorative patterns, EG the spool of thread (stitch #77), ribbon row (#74), stars (#75), and floral (stitches #61, #62, #67, #72 and #73).

The LCD screen has a clear informational display with stitch selected number, width, and length settings. Width can be adjusted up to 7 mm wide, and length up to 5 mm long.

20 of the most used utility stitches, straight, zigzag, overlock, etc have direct selection via the key pad. Other stitches can be viewed on the two pull-out side panels.

This 780DC computer sewing machine has a superior feeding system (SFS+) for fantastic fabric handling and an auto thread cutter to finish off and trim all your ends at the touch of a button.

There is an automatic needle threader, maximum speed control slider and for those who find it easier to work without a foot control, the machine can even be operated with the stop/start button.

These are just some of the fabulous Janome 780DC features which help produce quality sewing at your own pace. Create your own stitch combinations for fun, make labels and indulge your creative senses with this easy to use luxury machine.

What is the difference between the 740DC vs 780DC?

The main advantage the 780DC has is the thread cutter. At the press of a button, use it to trim excess thread ends from both the spool and bobbin threads, hence, no need for scissors and the machine is ready to start another seam immediately. It also has an extra 40 stitches, offering more scope for creativity while stitching.
