This is the all Black version of the super jeans Jaguar series, it is designed to sew denim and heavy fabrics, the performance sound and speed of the machine is not affected, and it can easily deal with several layers of fabric, which is great when sewing on patches and top stitching.
We put it to the test, stitching through several layers of denim at a time. By the 6th layer the sewing machine was still powering through the fabric. By layer 10 it was just starting to flag a little, pretty good going I would say!
With a minimalist design and simple ergonomic features, the Jaguar SJ23 Super Jeans is a joy to use for both novice and experienced crafters. With a great range of stitches, this is the perfect sewing machine for home use, including garment marking, alterations, soft furnishings and can be used with fabrics such as denim.
The stitch selection consists of utility, stretch and decorative stitches including a 1-step auto sizing buttonhole, straight and zig zag stitches, blind hem, overlock, serpentine and decorative pattern stitches are all available at the turn of the dial. Width and length can also be adjusted.
