The Juki MCS-800 is a highly regarded coverstitch machine designed for home sewers and professionals who need reliable performance and versatility. It feels strong with a metal internal body. The McS-1800 is a dedicated cover stitch machine, that can sew with 1, 2, or 3 needles at one time.

The Juki MCS-800 is capable of performing coverstitch operations, which are essential for hemming, binding, and topstitching. It produces professional-looking finishes on knit and woven fabrics, but is more at home when stitching stretch knit materials. The cover hem stitches it sews are highly-elastic and used for mainly sewing jersey knit garments, although it can be used on wovens too. It boasts, an extra height foot lifter between 8mm or 10mm to accommodate thicker materials or multiple layers while seaming quilt edges.
