Janome CoverPro 2000CPX Cover Stitch

The CoverPro 2000CPX is one of Janome's cover stitch models, it comes with electronic speed control is uniquely designed. It is a dedicated cover stitch only machine with 3 needles and 2, 3 or 4 thread cover stitching. It is not an overlocker, it can sew double or triple stretch cover hem stitching, just like you see on factory production sweatshirt shoulders, armholes, necklines, or dress hems. The 2000cpx has a few improvements and replaces the 1000cxp.

Janome's cover stitch has adjustable differential feed ratio, which is adjustable from .05 to 2.25, provides exceptional control for handling all types of fabrics and for creating desired special effects. It is simple adjustment via, a control dial on the right-hand side, just below the stitch seam tightening length dial, as one of our images shows.

Janome 2000CPX Innovation:

• Seam Tightening System (STS) to enable fine adjustments to be made when cover hemming. It is particularly useful when seaming on finer material types to fine turn stitch formation, to give a professional looking cover stitch for hemming.
• Tension Level Control (TLC) which affects the looper tension switching. It gives the user two pre-determined settings "Soft" or "Tight", with a quick switch from one position to the other, it stops the fabric curling, or the opposite way to "Tight" for a tauter stitch effect.

When you lift the presser foot for rethreading, the thread tensions are automatically released, so you can draw the thread smoothly away.

It has a much larger arm space than competitor models, and it has a small sleeve arm facility that is unique to this type of machine.
