Husqvarna Viking Amber Air S500

The HUSQVARNA VIKING AMBER Air S 500 is a 5-thread overlocker with 23 stitch options, it also sews a cover stitch, and the users will love the effortless thread of the loopers with the simple push of a button, the electronic air threading system bursts into life and does most of the arduous threading work automatically.

It has a large sewing area, which can be extended further by adding the included extension table, and it can be converted to a sleeve arm. The special fine adjustment lever is a nice touch for users who strive to have the perfect looking overlock.

Precise Thread Control (PTC) Depending on the type of fabric and type of thread you are sewing with, you may choose to make additional adjustments. To make finer adjustments and to compensate, the PTC gives a small change to the fabric edge visibility, after the fabric raw edge has been trimmed. This fine adjustment moves the needle plate tongue to become a better fit for the trimmed fabric edge.

Large, level work surface provides 12” (30cm) of additional space, the table also has circular sewing pin holes, The S500 it is ready to sew circular items like plate mats. The area to the right of the needle is 64mm high and 123mm wide, providing ample room when sewing larger projects. When in cover stitch mode the plate which slides in place to hide the knives gives extra fabric rest. With the fabric offcut catcher in place you're ready to start any project.
