In fact a steam press can half your ironing time..! they are usually over 10 times the pressing area of a regular hand iron. That in itself is a huge difference. But what you don't see in the images is, how easy they are to use. No need to stand while ironing! No more too-and-fro with a heavy iron!

Well firstly outstanding service from Sewing Machine Sales, I ordered on Friday, then a question about payment, phone them on Saturday morning and a lovely young lady answered the phone but couldn’t answer my query straight away and said she’d phone me back, yeah we’ve all heard that one! Seven minutes she called me back with answer! Got my press on the Sunday! So after three king duvet sets, 27 T-shirts and 7 linen shirts, why did I wait so long to buy this press, it’s so easy and the results are perfect, two points remember to slide the garments not lift, ouch! And it does get warm using it, you may have to open a window!

Excellent service, ordered and delivered speedily. Large amount of ironing 32 pillowslips, 4 queensize fitted sheets and 4 queensize duvet covers done in record time. Delighted, I can sit on my office chair to iron. Also used it to press fabric. I bought the stand for it, so its up all the time in my sewing room. Very pleased with it.

I’m very pleased with my Oliso. Super easy to use and now I can actually press clothes properly! Love it remaining straight on the board, long cord that doesn’t entangle on itself and perfect ironed corners. Highly recommend this item, ladies. Excellent company to deal with too. Thank you.

I have seen this iron on many American patchwork demos, and hoped it would arrive in the uk! I do dressmaking and patchwork which involve tiny bit of pressing, iron down, move fabric, pick up iron again! This iron is fantastic. It’s “reaction” time to being placed down or being picked up is milliseconds. It’s easy to use, easy to adjust and the swivel and very long cord, make it just perfect. Pricey but worth every penny. Plus the delivery from Sewing Machine Sales should go in the Guinness Book of Records. I ordered it mid afternoon and it was delivered the next morning before 10.00am. Outstanding service for an outstanding product.

We love this roller iron, it heats up fast, has multiple settings and gets through the sheets for our holiday cottages very quickly. Easy to change the filter. Would highly recommend.

My second ironing press. I owned an Elna press for 30 years which has done good service. The Speedypress has a larger plate which makes ironing bedding much easier and efficient. It is simple to use and is very effective. It is quite large so you do need space for storage, but so worth it. Very efficient process for ordering and delivery. I would definitely purchase from Sewing machine sales again.

Wonderful machine, easy to use even though I have arthritic hands and wrists. The handle is very easy to use as it lifts with a whoosh, not stiff or cumbersome the machine I had years ago!

Good old fashioned customer service. I purchased my first Pfaff 580 ironing roller approx 9 years ago and from Sewing Machine sales it has been a great machine, only ever needing a new cotton cover. In July 2020 it did need replacing, due to old age and I was unable to get a repair engineer locally, the machine's plate was becoming very hot, the heat setting buttons had worn out. After much thought and research, I decided to buy Miele rotary iron thinking I would be able to get a repair engineer easily if it went wrong - BIG MISTAKE! My Miele Rotary ironer did go wrong after only 14 months use, I was told by Miele customer service, Gilman's a third party repair engineer would attend which took a week, I was then informed a further three weeks for him to return with the necessary parts. With 9 rooms of ongoing bed linen, that's not what you want to hear! I telephoned Sewing Machines Sales this morning and a very helpful gentleman explained they now offer a ship back repair service and I have purchased another 580, which will arrive in the next couple of days. I highly recommend Sewing Machine Sales, the help and information I have been given has cheered my day, just what I needed under my current mound of laundry!
