Horn Super Q MK2 Sewing Machine Cabinet

The new Horn Super Q is the MK2 version, and it is one of the biggest cabinets out there. Including two separate pieces of furniture, It comes fully assembled and installed by the manufacture. It uses the newer style inset plastic filler plate, this gives a smoother top surface, as the perspex drops into the sewing machine gap, and leave a more flatter surface.

Our Horn Super Q MK2 includes:

• The air-lifter is the longer maxi type #1942 at 615mm wide x 330 mm deep, so is ready to fit most domestic sewing machines.
• Plexi-inset can be custom-made to fit around your sewing machine to create a perfectly flat working surface whilst its being used. Or, an UNCUT Plexi-Inset, this uncut filler plate, is used to fill the gap left by your machine when it is stored in it's lower under surface position, this plexi-filler-plate creates a flat surface to work on, when the cabinet doors and extended tables are opened.
• Mobile 3-Drawer unit: This fits underneath the cabinet and is on castors so can be positioned in a more convenient space.
• A further 70 cm wide draw is always available to the left.

Because the cabinet is designed by and to be used by quilters, the Super Q is fitted with the maxi-air-lift is ideal for supporting the much larger machines out there such as:

What is the difference between the Super Q vs Super Q MK2...?

• The MK2 when not being used, closing the door, the cabinet becomes fully enclosed.
• The MK2 fold out door offers greater stability of the right side flap.
• The MK2 can be fully locked with a key.

This cabinet uses the maxi inset aperture, which means the maximum gap or aperture space for your sewing machine is approx 615 x 330mm with the MK2 1942 inset fitting. An attribute we love about this cabinet is, it uses the inset type filler plate to give a remarkable leveled surface whilst working with your sewing machine in the flat bed position.
