A combined sewing and embroidery machine, with a colour touchscreen over 10" in size. The Pfaff Creative Performance 950 can embroider quilt blocks, logos, or decorative designs on to most materials. It can then go on to repair a broken zip, or add a hem to a skirt, if you can dream it, you can now sew it! 

The touchscreen measures 257mm (10.1") and it is what you are used too, it operates like a smartphone or tablet, swipe, touch and move, pinch, stretch, It's easy to get around the interface. Use the pull-up telescopic twin spool stand to hold larger size embroidery threads, while in sewing or embroidery mode.

Embroidery Features:

Editing Onscreen - The usual design editing functions are all available, undo/redo, rotate, resize, change colours, monochrome, adding lettering in various shapes. You can change stitch-out order feature, reorders the colour blocks, which can save minutes while sewing the design out. We also love the ability to baste in the hoop, no need to hoop your fabric, just hoop a robust stabiliser, and baste your fabric into position directly on to the stabiliser, this is another time saver when you're in a rush, or using fabrics that may be damaged by hooping it. Thread Cutting: As you sew an embroidery design, the 950 will automatically cut both top and bobbin threads as it moves to sew another block, or when it is ready to change thread colours.

Hoops included - creative 120 square hoop (120x120), creative Elite Hoop (260x200) and the creative Supreme Hoop (360x260). The creative 950 has the ability to expand its embroidery area, from the included 360 x 260 mm hoop size, to a whooping 360 x 350 mm with an additional extra, the Grand hoop.

PC software - With QuickFont software, you will never be limited to a select number of fonts. This software converts any TrueType font on you PC to VP3 embroidery design format that the creative 950 can sew out. View designs with information and organise them on your PC for storage.

USB or Wi-Fi - Use Wi-Fi or USB to import embroidery designs, save them to the machines memory, a USB or to your cloud storage area on mySewnet.

Stitch cutter - At curtain stages while embroidering, it will automatically cut jump stitches, for example between letters of a word, or when moving from one colour block to another position some distance away. This saves time, no need to reach for the scissors after the design has completely been sewn out.

Ribbon Stitcher: The 950 has the capability to use the Creative embellishment attachment, read more about it here. It can embroider with ribbon, beads and specialist yarns.

Custom borders - Use the stitch creator onscreen to combine decorative stitches, and element to create your own custom borders and designs.

Sewing Features:

Wonderful stitches - Choose floating, stacking, single, double and triple ribbon stitches, radiant, or lace edge stitches. They are all unique, look fabulous and are fun to sew. Plus another 800+ decorative stitches to choose from. The regular pattern width in 9mm, but this clever Pfaff 950 can sew sideways, and maxi-stitches up to 52 mm wide.

ActivStitch Technology - Sensors measure the fabric thickness to regulate the amount of thread needed to achieve perfect balance between the needle and bobbin threads. Results are perfect thread balance on both sides of the fabric, which means, no more tension problems, ActivStitch, continuously measures the fabric thickness to portion the correct amount of thread for the selected stitch.

Free-motion quilting - Choose between different free-motion modes. For all free-motion sewing the feed teeth will lower automatically and the fabric must be moved manually. When sewing free motion with a straight stitch, use the included straight stitch plate for best result. Or use the clever sensormatic mode, and, when sewing free-motion at low speed the presser foot will raise and lower with each stitch to hold the fabric on the needle plate while the stitch is being formed. At higher speed, the presser foot floats over the fabric while sewing.

IDT - It has the trademark Integrated Dual Feed technology to help delivery absolutely even seams. A built-in sensor will let you know when to engage the IDT. 

Stitch creator - Create your very own custom 9 mm stitches on screen. You can taper every 9 mm decorative pattern.

Sewing fonts - 6 Options in both upper and lower case, numbers, and punctuation characters. Save these to the memory and use over and over at any stage in the future.

Long bed design - Using the same chassis as the Icon 2, the sewing bed offers 310 mm to the right of the needle, bigger than most and plenty of space to manipulate the largest quilts.

Bobbin winder - Using a separate motor to quickly wind the bobbins, means no need to unthread the needle. Wind thread on to spare bobbins while you are sewing a seam.

Electronic help - Needle threader is fully automatic. Cut threads at the touch of a button. Tie-off feature at the start and end of a seam. No need to press the button to lift or lower the presser foot, simply, use the knee lifter. 

Speedy - Sew in a controlled manner at speed, up to 1000 stitches-per-minute.
