Husqvarna Designer Topaz 25 Embroidery Sewing Machine

The Husqvarna Viking Designer Topaz 25 is a new model to the Topaz range. It is exclusively designed to help you create some of the finest embroideries and unleash your creativity. It features a large working surface (10") with extended free arm and includes an exclusive sensor system technology. The sensor automatically adjusts according to the thickness of the fabric to allow for an even stitch. The sensor foot pressure can be activated with the touch of a button to automatically adjust to fabric thickness that results in an even feed. It comes with a hoop plus loads more accessories you use whilst in sewing or embroidery mode.

The sewing advisor is one of the most used options on the Topaz 25. It provides all the settings, including type of stitch, stitch width and length, thread tension, needle type and size, presser foot pressure and sewing speed as soon as you enter the fabric type and sewing technique on its built-in LCD screen. In sewing mode, the Topaz 25, brings you 160 stitch options with 3 programmable alphabets. Select the stitch or stitch number on the touch panel and you are ready to start. Other sewing features include a built-in needle threader and 5-speed electronic control. 12 memories and three alphabets to store hundreds of pattern combinations to recall later. Ideal for name labels. We all love doing free-motion and the Designer Topaz is ready with 2 settings to allow full floating or spring action stippling.

For embroidery projects:

It includes a USB stick with preloaded 75 embroidery designs and a large embroidery area of 240 x 150mm.

Download an embroidery design format from the internet. Any HUS design file can be used and saved to a USB stick. Pop it into the machine and embroider away. Or use the included 1GB USB embroidery stick to transfer designs easily to and from your computer to the machine. Once a design is loaded on screen it can be edited by scale or position or swing by 90 degrees. Then, simply attach the embroidery unit, hoop and start to embroider. The Topaz 25 will tell you when to change thread colour, it will even trim threads between colour changes.

Accessories include a seam ripper, screwdriver, brush, felt pads, thread nets, spool caps, bobbins, needles, a hard plastic carrying case, and more. Most importantly, you receive a complete education package which includes the Viking embroidery collection of 75 designs, plus sampler book of designs. Rayon embroidery threads and stabilizer with fabric. Great to get you started embroidering out the box. Anyone can become a master embroiderer using the Topaz 25 embroidery sewing machine.

Using the software, included by way of a download, you will be able to create new embroidery fonts from any true-type font one your PC. You can view designs, change colours, and even change the design file format. For example, convert Brother PES files to Husqvarna HUS files to use in any one of the Designer series embroidery machines. 

One more thing I forget to mention, not only is it a full-on embroidery machine, it is a very capable sewing machine with functions like, automatic needle threading, top loading bobbins, needle up/down, FIX stitch and the fantastic automatic top thread tensions.
