Brother Innovis F580 Sewing & Embroidery Machine

With this wonderful Innov-Is F580 nothing can limit your stitching, quilting or design potential. With the wireless capability, you can easily transfer embroidery data to your machine with the free Design Database Transfer program (Windows only). Or why not draw your own using our Artspira app for IOS or Android, then hoop it in the included 7" x 5" frame to embroider.

The Innovis F580 trims jump stitches between lettering and adds many onscreen editing and design customising options using the full colour touchscreen.

As well as being a solid embroidery tool, it's also a brilliant sewing machine too! Superb stitch quality help by having a strong aluminum chassis. This machine will appeal to machine embroidery enthusiasts, quilters, dressmakers and general sewers due to its features and functions. Theres even a basting setting, stitch number 8.

Stitch #32 is the first of the quilting stitches and it's a one I love to use, the "Hand-look quilting stitch" using transparent nylon thread fot the upper thread and the colour matching the quilt on the bobbin, this super stitch will really give you that; hand sewn finish. It even has a stippling stitch. Use the included side cutter (an attachment that trims the fraded edge of the fabric while the machine is stitching) with one of the many overlock stretch stitches available. One of our images shows the optional extension table which quilt makers will love.

Having both USB and Wi-Fi capability, the transfer of your existing designs or machine embroidery designs downloaded from the Internet, can be sent from your computer to the machine instantly with or without a memory stick. Sewing speed is up to 850 stitches per minute (straight stitch) with embroidery speed up to 650 stitches per minute, large single embroidery area 13cm by 18cm and a total of 193 built in embroidery patterns to get you started.

You have the option of 13 fonts to choose from, including 3 styles of Japanese text, each font has 3 sizes. Its simple to edit your design on screen or add text to a logo. A memory to save your customised designs or save lettering to use at a later date.

Used to automatically trim the top and bottom threads in between letters or embroidered stitch blocks. A real time saver.

Needle Up/Down Button
A popular feature and used to position the needle when you stop sewing. This can be either at the top of the stroke, so you can remove your work easily OR have the needle down for easy pivoting.

Reverse/Reinforcement Button
Another popular feature that automatically sews 4 reinforcement stitches in straight or zig zag stitches. Start/Stop Button Gives the option to use the regular foot control OR use this button to start and stop the machine and the on board speed control to regulate the speed.
