For me, running a company that i'm passionate about can be hard work at times, however with stitching, sewing and embroidery as a hobby, everything seems to fall into place. We are SewingMachineSales.co.uk. Established in 1952, and have been trading online since 1998, celebrating our 25th year online(2023). We are proud of our hard work over the years to build a trusted, reliable online store. However, not only are we selling online internationally, but we also operate from a bricks & mortar high street store where customers are welcome anytime to chat, buy or view a demonstration on one of the latest machines.Please don't confuse us with other websites. We are a long-established company, offering expert advice, great prices, and a friendly, high-quality service.

In 1952 our store was created in Whitley Bay, selling world-class Singer featherweight machines, threads, parts and much more! By 1998 when we began our retailing online journey, in 2023 we celebrated 25 years selling online, and presently shipping worldwide from a state-of-the-art warehouse facility. We are committed to giving superior customer service and support, providing knowledge about each product we carry which enables us to answer your questions and give the most accurate technical support before and after an order. Over the years we have achieved many awards, and learned while we grew into who we are today.

We have earned our reliable reputation as one of the more authentic and dependable online websites (as you know, not all websites are secure or can be trusted).  We are secure and work with a variety of organizations including banks, schools, colleges, finance companies, the National Health Service (NHS), businesses, government agencies such as VAT, tax, and HM Revenue & Customs, pensions, MOD, and charities and we're growing each year.

Supplied, serviced and 3D printed parts, that allowed the MTV program, Pimp My Ride to custom fit a vintage hand operated sewing machine on to a pull-out platform in the boot of a small car. It was just what the owner wanted, so she could use her sewing machine anywhere.!

After years and years of using the latest and most advanced sewing technology, we have learned how to detect many issues before they arise. In fact so much so, in many cases, we are able to extend the warranty up to 10 years on selected products.

What about after-sales support?

Not only do we sell sewing machines, but we also offer our impeccable after-sales care by helping instruct in sewing, embroidery, and overlocking. Our shop floor staff also offer patchwork & quilting advice/tips; did we mention we also offer sewing classes in-store. Do we offer follow-up servicing and repairs?

Via our workshop we repair, and service all brands and models. We even repair sewing machines for other UK businesses, shops, stores, and websites. On older models where parts are impossible to obtain, our workshop engineers 3D print alternatives to get many of the older models back in to fully working condition.
